The Franklin 3 is Brooklyn Bicycle Co.'s approachable step-through bike with just enough gearing to handle city terrain. A Shimano Nexus 3-speed internal hub gives you a low gear for starting from stoplights, a cruising gear for flat roads, and a high gear for keeping up with traffic. The step-through frame makes getting on and off effortless, whether you are wearing a skirt, carrying a bag, or just prefer easy mounting. The upright riding position keeps you comfortable and aware of your surroundings. Fenders come standard to protect your clothes from road spray, and a rear rack mount lets you add a basket or panniers. Puncture-resistant tires handle city streets without flat-tire anxiety. The Franklin 3 is built for anyone who wants reliable, comfortable transportation without a steep learning curve.
